Masaru Emoto (1943–2014) was a Japanese researcher who claimed that human consciousness, emotions, and spoken words directly influence the molecular structure of water. Through photographic experiments, he purported that positive thoughts and words ("love and gratitude") produce beautiful, complex ice crystals, while negative ones create distorted structures. Water was exposed to music, words, or thoughts, then frozen and photographed under a microscope. As human bodies are over 60% water, Emoto suggested that thoughts and environments significantly affect human health and well-being. His work is described in books like 'The Hidden Messages in Water'
